AUTMHQ UPDATE

Hola and Hello!

I'm excited to reconnect with our communities once more. As you know, at Austin Urban Technology Movement, we are continually working for the empowerment and equipping of our communities in order for them to pursue and land a career in technology. The ultimate goal is for them to get a job that pays more than $100,000 per year. But what happens once the goal is met? Are you ready to manage that income responsibly? How do you ensure that you continue to progress in your industry so that you can stay current in your career? Here are some crucial considerations that will help you anticipate your long-term career establishment. Let's talk about financial literacy. This term is used to define the ability to make smart financial decisions. It entails creating a budget, saving money, determining favorable conditions for a loan, understanding credit repercussions, etc. These skills will enable you to make decisions with greater knowledge and manage your personal finances more responsibly. During the months of April and May, AUTMHQ will be presenting Your Financial Journey by Chase. Sign up to learn about these topics and how to set ten-year financial goals, as well as ways to build credit, explain credit score ranges and how credit scores are broken down.  You can't miss this opportunity to learn how to plan better your future! We are offering a two-part series both in-person and virtual. Register for any of these events here. Additionally, please remember that keeping your knowledge up to date is essential for advancing your career and acquiring leadership skills. AUTMHQ highly recommends that you continue your education as an AUTMite even after you have obtained your first certification. We can assure you that learning new technical skills will make you a better-qualified candidate for promotions. Click here to explore what AUTMHQ provides to help you follow this plan and succeed in your tech career!

Enjoy the journey!
