ReThink Austin 2023

Saturday | November 4th | 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. CDT |
The Headliners Club

Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ) proudly presents the fifth edition of ReThink Austin in collaboration with Harlem Labs. During this all-day event, ReThink Austin will explore equitable solutions for topics related to community impact, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), technology, and entrepreneurship. With gentrification on the rise and a growing skills gap in technology, ReThink Austin "re-thinks" the City of Austin's trajectory in an effort to prevent further divide between the haves and have-nots; those who have wealth, experience, education, opportunity, etc. and those who do not.

This year's theme of Emerging Technology will focus on new and emerging technology, as well as the ongoing evolution of existing technology as it relates to our session topics. ReThink Austin will examine how technology innovations are being developed and discuss the social and economic impact of these innovations.

Phenomenal Women Panel at ReThink Austin 2022

This panel, which was moderated by Paty Sesma, VP of MarCom at AUTMHQ, provided an excellent opportunity to share the stories of accomplished women in technology. We had a really fascinating and informative conversation about the challenges that women face in the workplace or as entrepreneurs. We talked about Impostor Syndrome and, of course, the significant achievements of our panelists, Taisha Dotson, Melinda Garvey, Muna Hussaini, and Mercedes Ballard. This was such an uplifting discussion. ---------------------------- Want to break into tech and change the world? Join the AUTMHQ movement by Liking, Commenting, and Subscribing!
