More details here.

RETHINK AUSTIN UPDATE

Hello!

This is an important update regarding the fifth edition of ReThink Austin 2023: After discussing with our partners and sponsors about how to maximize this networking opportunity, we've decided to reschedule ReThink Austin 2023 for Afro Tech 2023. This decision is to align with our communities and be a part of this global gathering where inclusive tech companies meet innovators. As a result, we are pleased to announce that ReThink Austin 2023 will now take place during November's most exciting tech week in Austin, Texas. By hosting ReThink Austin during Afro Tech Week, we will better represent our communities while also providing better opportunities for brighter futures in technology. If you have already RSVPed for this event, look for an email from us to update your registration. ReThink Austin cultivates a fluent community of diverse individuals from various sectors in order to break down societal barriers. Austin, Texas, has one of the country's greatest racial wealth disparities, emphasizing the importance of an equitable solution in technology, entrepreneurship, community impact, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). With gentrification on the rise and a growing skills gap in technology, ReThink Austin "re-thinks" the city's trajectory, preventing a further divide between the educated and uneducated, the experienced and inexperienced, and the haves and have-nots. ReThink Austin is proudly hosted by Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ) and Harlem Labs. Stay tuned!
