Let's commemorate Earth Day!
AUTMHQ UPDATE
Hola and Hello!
This edition honors Earth Day, which has been commemorated for nearly 50 years. Earth Day has been represented with mobilization for environmental causes across the country and around the world. Even though Earth Day is only one day, many people advocate to improve our planet every day. 🌎
As you are aware, our personal health has an impact on the health of our planet. Austin Urban Technology Movement supports this cause because it is an important component of our total wellness initiative, which also includes Economic Empowerment (financial health) and Wellness Wednesdays (mental health). We want our program participants to be self-sufficient while also excelling in the field of technology. This is attainable by obtaining a certification that will allow them to work in a high-paying tech job. However, to remain competitive, they must additionally develop hard and soft skills, engage with a mentor to receive better career counseling, attend networking events to establish professional relationships and take part in community service. Furthermore, incorporating healthy practices into their everyday routines to improve physical and mental health should be high on the priority list. ✅

In honor of Earth Day, we are also supporting some fantastic events in our community. More information can be found below. 👇 You can participate in the celebration, be a part of the mobilization, and join the groups of individuals who practice Earth Day every day. If you want to do some community service but don't know where to start, AUTMHQ is an excellent place to make your days not only extraordinary but also green!
