Broadband on the Ballot Today is election day! There are several state propositions on the ballot, one of them being Prop 8, which is a constitutional amendment that would create the Broadband Infrastructure Fund in the Texas Constitution. A Big Win for Community Broadband Thanks to people like you who voiced their concerns and shared their oppinions, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) issued guidance changing the Letter of Credit (LOC) requirement in the $42.5B Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program. This change makes great strides towards including small, and community-focused ISPs essential to ending the digital divide.
