About the event
MLK Day is a day to celebrate the legacy of Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. He fought for the basic human rights-civil right. He fought for equality in jobs, in education, in civic participation. He fought for future generations-for a dream to experience freedoms that are should not be limited because of one's skin color. Join AUTMHQ and Austin Area Urban League of Young Professionals as we continue his legacy for equality, freedom, and our future as we march during the MLK Community March parade and gather at Huston-Tillotson (HTU) for the MLK Community Festival to unite and connect with one another.
