
Michael Ward Jr. is a dynamic social entrepreneur creating solutions to improve STEM education, workforce development, and economic empowerment in our community. A native of Miami, FL, Michael launched his tech career at Oracle in Sales and Marketing for both cloud and on-premise technologies, while also leading Oracle’s Black Employee Resource Group to drive recruitment and professional growth.

Currently, Michael is the President and CEO at Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ). He is also the Co-Founder of TwoWards Solutions, a member of the Greater Austin STEM Ecosystem Advisory Council, and Board Member of Austin Community Radio (KAZI), the University of Texas at Austin Cockrell School of Engineering, and the Texas Science and Engineering Fair. Michael is also a community partner of the IT Caucus of the Texas House and actively engaged in the community.

Before starting his tech career and entrepreneurship journey, Michael earned a degree in International Relations at Miami Dade College and two degrees in Political Science and Global Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Michael is a Miami Heat Fan, Tar Heel alum, and loves good food made with love.
