AUTMHQ UPDATES Hola and Hello!
I'm excited to share the video above because it reminds me of my first week at Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ), formerly AUTM, but also because this conversation with our president and CEO, Michael Ward Jr., reminds us of the importance of the work that we are doing to build a healthier workforce ecosystem. In the video above, we discuss the fundamentals of our mission. Michael emphasizes the importance of diversifying the tech industry and paving the way for the Black and Hispanic communities to explore, enter, and thrive in this sector. You'll learn not only why it's vital for companies to be open to diversification and play their roles, but also how to get started in this journey with AUTMHQ. Before I proceed, if you want to see more videos like these, please follow our YouTube channel @autmhq. Diverse perspectives are vital for a company's success nowadays, and focusing your hiring efforts on inclusion will help us achieve a 100% diverse workplace in the near future, which will benefit both our economy and society. When you partner with AUTMHQ, we will provide you with great diverse talent to fill your open positions. Contacts us today!
On a different note, here's a friendly reminder to mark your calendars for ReThink Austin 2023! If you'd like to become a sponsor, please let us know here!

📆 Mark your calendars!
ReThink Austin 2023: Emerging Technology Emerging technology generally refers to new technology, but it can also refer to the ongoing evolution of existing technology. It is commonly used to describe innovations that are currently being developed and are expected to be available within the next five to ten years. Above all, it typically includes technologies that have or will have a significant social or economic impact. Our guest speakers will discuss how emerging technologies will impact central Austin in terms of technology, entrepreneurship, community impact, and DE&I. This event also contributes to AUTMHQ's awareness-to-employment pipeline, which aims to increase diversity in technology while also creating an ecosystem to close the wealth gap.
