As Austin Urban Technology Movement (AUTMHQ) provides pathways to self-staining jobs in the tech industry, we also want to make sure people begin and sustain a healthy financial journey. Last month, AUTMHQ hosted a series of sessions entitled "Your Financial Journey" because we know understanding financial services, how to manage your money and different currency types can be complicated, especially if you don’t know where to begin. Be on the lookout for future Your Financial Journey sessions with the city Vice President of Chase bank, Christopher Cordova, who will lead discussions on how to set S.M.A.R.T. goals, budget, build credit, and avoid fraud. You'll leave these sessions with a basic understanding of niche markets, exchange rates, financial platforms, how to manage your money, and other financial complexities.
