Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Power Architect who will be a part of System IP RTL/Backend Power Analysis to join our mobile semiconductor architecture team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive power analysis at the RTL level for our cutting-edge mobile chipsets. Your work will directly impact the power efficiency and performance of our mobile devices, contributing to their success in the market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead RTL/Backend designers to have better power optimized design

  • Lead modeling team to have more accurate and reliable power data, to give proper power model direction

  • Lead to have an end-to-end correlation from model to post-silicon

  • Perform detailed power analysis for System IP RTL designs of mobile chipsets.

  • Ability to delve into the lowest level details of Coherent fabric, Memory controller & LLC design specification, implementation and it's performance impact.

  • Interactions with architect and u-architects to define detailed scope of micro architectural features to save power.

  • Define/Create a scalable micro power virus to validate features.

  • Collaborate closely with design, backend, silicon engineer and architecture teams to understand design specifications and power requirements.

  • Develop power estimation methodologies and strategies to achieve power targets.

  • Identify power bottlenecks and potential areas for power optimization in the design.

  • Generate official power reports and present findings to cross-functional teams, influencing design decisions.

  • Work in tandem with the verification team to ensure power models accurately represent design behavior.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve power efficiency throughout the design process.

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in mobile power analysis techniques and tools.
