Position Summary

If you have ambitions to be a part of a Best in Class organization, Samsung’s Digital Retail Experience Team is the place to be. The role of the team is to surround consumers with innovative product experiences that truly "Enhance" their retail experience. It is an exciting time with Samsung and the Digital Retail Experience Team is positioned to continue its growth. The dynamic culture at Samsung offers both great challenge and great reward. If you want to work among the very best talent in the industry, working on the most innovative products in the world, look no further.

It’s time to get your creative juices flowing! This role leads the strategy and creative execution of our multi-device experiences in retail. These experiences help shoppers understand our full mobile product story (phones, PCs, tablets, watches and ear buds) and how Galaxy devices work together to make their lives easier.

Your keen strategic and leadership skills will enable you to set the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for new digital experiences that reduce friction and solve clear consumer pain points. You’ll partner with the Director of Digital Retail Experience on the roadmap and prioritization of what matters most to achieve strategic goals and shopper initiatives. You will use rich consumer insights and collaboration with Korean leadership and product marketing teams to identify the use cases to bring to life within retail.

Partnership in this role is critical. You will manage creative agencies in the building of content and interactive applications that drive awareness, education and purchase of our devices. You will also build relationships and opportunities with other best-in-class brands like Google and Microsoft to create new, integrated retail experiences using third-party products. You’ll work cross-functionally within Mobile Retail to deploy multi-device experiences across tens of thousands of stores. As sales associates also use these experiences to deliver richer sales interactions with shoppers, you will work with field reps to understand what’s working and what could be improved to enable higher mobile product sales.

To stay ahead of the competition, it’s critical to analyze market and competitive conditions, and lay out a vision where our content and in-store experiences can deliver unique value based on customer demands. Using consumer insights, you will execute concept testing across our Retail strategy and consumer insights teams. Once validated, you’ll partner with Retail team members to bring the concept to life. For the big ideas that prove they can drive impactful business results, you’ll partner with the Retail Experience Technology team for the software and applications development that will ultimately help us scale innovations across online, retail and carrier channels.

An understanding of the power of data is critical. You will be responsible for reviewing the data produced by the multi-device digital experiences and sharing reports that outline insights, opportunities, and performance against key metrics. Reporting will be shared across Korean and SEA Retail leadership.
