Dropbox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Customer Experience (CX) Technology team. This role involves building large-scale systems and integrating third-party applications to enhance the support and customer experience. Responsibilities include articulating a technical vision, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing and executing roadmaps. The Senior Software Engineer will be a key player in improving user experiences and solving technical challenges.


  • Articulate a technical vision and work with cross-functional partners to deliver it

  • Write code and lead by example, understanding root causes and mentoring junior engineers

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand user needs and build products that meet them

  • Develop and execute short and long-term roadmaps, making tradeoffs between business impact, user experience, and technical quality

  • Improve the team and company culture through mentorship, interviewing, and new initiatives

  • Build and maintain relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate across functions within Dropbox
