POSITION OVERVIEW
The NI SystemLink R&D software team is seeking to hire a software engineer with experience developing scalable, production-ready web applications and web services. The SystemLink software team develops cloud-native, SaaS enterprise applications for fast-paced, high-growth industries across semiconductor, electronics, automotive, and aerospace/defense markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
?   Deliver high-quality implementation and testing of feature sets for new and existing products
?   Develop full-stack, production-ready applications in a collaborative team environment
?   Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and Technical Leads to translate customer requirements into high-level design proposals
?   Divide large, complex projects into manageable tasks; help develop timelines and milestones
?   Review design documents and changesets for accuracy, quality, and maintainability
?   Identify technical project risks and propose mitigations and contingencies
?   Propose and participate in efforts to continuously improve how the team works
?   Contribute to CI/CD infrastructure and processes to improve quality and efficiency
?   Continually grow knowledge of customers, product line, and underlying technologies
?   Influence growth throughout the organization via mentorship and knowledge sharing
?   Network and collaborate with peers in a variety of functions (engineers, designers, IT specialists, technical writers, etc.) across a globalized workforce
?   Provide technical expertise, support and training to technical support engineers, applications / systems engineers customers and other product users
?   Maintain continuous product uptime by monitoring health metrics and resolving alarms
