

Position Overview:We are looking for a Senior HR Operations Support Specialist to join our dynamically expanding global HR Operations team. Our team is responsible for supporting NI's global HR organization and management extensively, liaising with employees, participating in the design, operation, and continuous improvement of processes worldwide. The HR Operations Specialist performs tasks related to hiring, onboarding, internal changes, payroll, benefits, and absence management. The specialist also collaborates with HR Business Partners, employees, and leaders from NI?s international offices, as well as other functions supporting the HR organization. The position will report to the HR Operations Team Lead (located in Debrecen, Hungary) and would be based around Austin, TX.
Main responsibilities:
Responds to queries and requests submitted in our HR Service Management tool and provides professional HR support for our managers and employees.
The primary focus is on the USA, secondary focus is on the Latin American Region and occasionally on global topics
Build and maintain employee related routine administrative processes
Carry out organizational and communication tasks related to the following areas:
Liaison with local NI employees during onboarding tasks
Monitor internal changes throughout the employee lifecycle with emphasis on US specific processes
Administration and communication related to payroll cycles and benefit programs
Partners up with local and international stakeholders (HR SMEs or managers) to update existing policy/process as part of continuous improvement
Creating and applying new processes to meet customer expectations / to solve specific, unique challenges
Cooperation with other support functions on employee cases, such as finance, travel group, IT etc.
Occasional preparation of reports and analyses
Represents Global HR Operations to US specific Stakeholders and participate in any projects related to the above topics on country or regional level
