Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of ASCE 7-10, ACI 318-14, ACI 530-13, AISC 360-10, NDS 2015.

• Knowledge of International Building Code and all applicable codes.

• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings for complex projects.

• Experience producing, reviewing, analyzing and/or approving design specifications and drawings for commercial projects.

• Ability to communicate scientific and technical matters, both orally and in writing, to non- technical individuals to engage in problem-solving and conflict resolution; to represent the City, and to partner effectively with citizens and development professionals.

• Experience in post-tensioned design and construction.

• Experience in high-rise design and construction.

• Experience in heavy timber design and construction.
