Join a dedicated team to help shape and lead Elastic’s global DEI strategic priorities, goals, initiatives, and projects across the globe
Design and implement practices to monitor, report and synthesize key DEI data to drive insight and action with quantitative and qualitative measures
Partner with cross functional leadership to further embed DEI into all aspects of the employee life cycle (recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, development, mobility, retention, and engagement)
Guide Elastician Resource Groups (ERGs) to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and DE&I strategy and business impact
Develop and prioritize budget resources for enhancing DEI globally
Stay up-to-date with regulatory, policy developments, innovation, and creative thinking happening across the tech sector and beyond

10 yrs minimum influencing DEI programs in a corporate environment (min 5 yrs in global environment)
Thorough understanding of US equal employment opportunity laws and regulations; and awareness and understanding of global diversity (EMEA, APJ)
Excellent organizational skills like attention to detail, strong social skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to think critically, solve problems and make decisions, while influencing and building trust across multiple levels, internally and externally, to deliver results with ambitious timelines
The ability to be an organization-wide change agent, effectively communicating at all levels, including sophisticated financial and organizational analyses to the Leadership Teams
Partner and coach leaders to, enable a consistent, authentic, fair, and equitable approach to business and internal priorities
Involved with an established DEI network and a grasp of DEI industry benchmarks, leading practices, and innovations is important
Experience working in and getting results in a collaborative environment, building relationships and influencing key partners, demonstrating ability to get results through collaboration

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for new hires in this role is between $153,800 and $211,500, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.
Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering.
